Skateboard bearings

Skateboard bearings are placed in the wheels which enables them to roll smoothly on the axle, so the quality of your ride is directly related to how well-maintained the bearings are. It’s essential to keep them clean, because wheel failure can lead to serious injury.

How to quickly clean your skateboard bearings:
• Remove it from the wheel (removing the wheel involves tools)
• Use a bottle of Tri-Flow (important) and the spray-adapter and the edges of the bearing.
• Spray until there is no black gunk left.
• Set them off to the side to dry before placing them in them back in the wheels.

It’s important to use Tri-Flow rather than other lubricants to clean your skateboard bearings. Products like WD-40 attracts dust and debris that sticks to your wheels and does more damage than good.
